Here’s one of the film’s trailers released earlier to give you a sense of what to expect:
Joining the ranks of “The Expendables 3,” “Transformers: Age of Extinction,” and “The Amazing Spider Man 2,” we can now confirm that at least one more major Hollywood movie will be giving millions and millions of fans a look during Super Bowl XLVIII.
And guess what, it’s yet another sequel! This time it’s the film “Captain America: The Winter Soldier.” This news adds to the number of total movies with trailers running during the game, and also leaves the number of original concepts getting their launch during the Super Bowl right at zero.
This film, unlike some of the others, is not going to be making its trailer debut during the game, though. Previews and teasers for “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” have been running for months. But with the film coming out the month after Super Bowl XLVIII we suppose this is the studio’s last chance for a major bump, unless they want to take time during some of the final events of the upcoming Winter Olympic Games (which, heck, maybe they will).
